    Now I really liked Singles when I watched it (like, 10 years ago) but being honest I don't know if I'd like it as much if it wasn't for the Pearl jam connection. The same applies to Into The Wild I think....

    Yeah, I only watched it because Pearl Jam was in it. It was cool to get a feel for the early 90s, but that's about it. Definitely wasn't Crowe's best work and the big name actors (Sedgwick, Dillon, Fonda) have turned in better performances for other projects, so it's just kind of so-so to me.
