does anyone use it? does it work? You can buy it at the mall right? you don't have to order it?

After that break out I got from my laser treatment, my skin just gets worse every day. I look like the before photos on the proactive commercial.

Everyone I know that uses/used it swears by it. :) But yes, it does stain towels if too much gets on them. My housesitter did that to our towels and it took us forever to figure out what it was. lol Others haven't had a problem, so I don't know if she just wasn't rinsing it off good enough or what.

yeah I had this problem with the neutragena product that's like proactive. it ruined my comforter at the top where I would pull it up to my face!

I used it between when I was 19-20,
it didn't worked for me. Maybe I used too much of it/other products too.

I found this one product that finally worked for me.
Once a day, it all cleared up. I still it lightly.

  • I have used it, my ex girlfriend, my cousin, friends...alL have used it and it HAS/DID NOT WORK for any of us.
It is a waste of money and you are better off using OXY or straight alcohol on your skin. I would have been better off doing facial mask with the actual dollars I spent on it. I think cow shit would have better results eliminating zits.

    WASTE OF MONEY!!!

I use it and it does work really well.
The mall where i go has a kiosk that sells it, but i've not seen it at the other malls in the area, so i'm not sure about that. You should try it. It gets a little pricey, but to me it's worth it to have clear skin.

Cost me $45 when I got mine online.
Again, I endorse this neutrogena product because it works for me.

Plus, it's less than $5. It'll take time but it'll work.

I have heard that it does not work for all kinds of acne, like it doesn't work for folliculitus. I slightly worry because usually this is why I break out. but my latest zits don't seem to be the same as my usual, so who knows.

my usual mask is NOT working at all...very frustrating.

I always thought a zit was a zit.

no it's a common misconception. I know there are a few different types. folliculitus is when your hair follicules get infected-it's a deeper infection. But I don't think the stuff I'm getting now is like that, it seems to just be like regular white heads, so maybe proactive would work...all I know if I've already spent like a million dollars trying to clear this shit up!

    maybe that's the problem.
you're using too much and too many product?
i made my problem worst by using too many products.
but then i gave up on most of them and decided to just use one product.

    it worked! :D

antibiotics will help clear that up. They worked for me, but I didn't want to stay on them long term, so I tried a smoothbeam laser. That worked so good...it just zaps the bacteria. There weren't any side effects and my skin didn't get dry, etc. It's a little pricey, but so worth it imo

yeah I was perscribed antibotics for 2 weeks when I had it on other areas of my body. You have to go to the doctor though, and I'm not going until March 26th...

over-the-counter stuff has never worked for me...my skin is really sensitive so must of that stuff just dries it out and ends up making it worse for me. I've never tried proactive, though. If the antibiotics worked for you before, maybe they could just call in a refill

that's the key, finding something that works and sticking with it. i used to have it bad on my body the first time i went on accutane. it cleared everything up. then i just had it on my forehead the second time. i had to get off of it that time though.............

I spent about $100 on ProActive. My son was with me when I bought it (he was about 9 at the time) and he was excited for me when I made this big purchase! About a month into using it he says to me "Mom, you should get your money back". It didn't work for me.
