it was a little surprising to get a video game for a gift as a 29 year old woman, however, after playing it for 2 days straight, one thing is certain: I will never get anything productive done again. ever.

haha, good thing you didn't get it while you were in grad school!

I am a guitar hero widow. :D I have never played it yet, though. I'll have to try it sometime.

just a warning, if you start playing, you won't stop, so you should find a good foster home for annabelle first :). Seriously last night I wouldn't go to bed until I could beat the first arena show.

Been totally stuck on Holiday in Cambodia on expert for days now. If anyone has any pointers about beating that intro please share.

i got a wii for christmas and i am trying to find it online and everywhere i look it is sold out. for wii it is selling for $90... i imagine the same price range for ps3 and xbox 360.

i am going to give it a couple of weeks, let the holiday rush settle down and i am sure they will be popping up in stores again.

my son got it and I have become HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got 89% on Kiss "I wanna Rock and Roll All Night" last night :D

I think of Mike Mc whenever I hear that song "and part of every day..." ha ha!

    lol :)

Ok, I'm playing now (it's naptime) and I SUCK!

I blame my parents. They never let me have a nintendo when I was little, because they wanted me to do more creative/active things. So as a result, I suck at video games. :( :D

don't worry, I suck too. it's the drive to get better that sustains a true guitar hero :)

This game is the greatest invention in the world. I started off on easy. Then I went to medium and could make it through any song I played just because I play guitar and I can use my pinky. Then I bumped it up to expert. Let's just say I'm no expert. That shit is hard.Awesome game though.
Revive the heart of the heartless...

Why would you start was has no end?

You're not a true Guitar Hero until Knights of Cydonia pisses you off so much after dying with 98% that you break the guitar that came with game and have to buy a new one.

  • the end times are near...

    lol
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    I came, I saw, I concurred.....
  • Definitely one of the most addicting games I've ever played. My finals week was spent making the transition from hard to expert instead of studying and writing papers. I can't think of a better way to procrastinate and waste time, though.

this is what keeps me from buying this game, and this system

I don't need much to get me in a procrastinating mood, or to waste time
