Hypomania

I'm always dubious to trust self-diagnosis via the internet, especially considering I'm a teenager and it's likely just hormones.

But the symptoms describe me to a t. Has anyone else got any experience with this 'disorder'?

    Increased spending? Increased Sexual Activity? No need for sleep? Racing thoughts?

    I thought I was going hypomanic yesterday (because I have depression), couldn't stop talking, couldn't sit still...it was horrible! But it turned out that my friend the barista put a triple shot of espresso in my latte! And I've been avoiding caffeine for months....fun times...

    sounds like teenage-itis to me. I had that for a few years. It seems to have passed me by for now. ;)

    Seriously though, read your first post again. Don't trust the internet for anything. If you're really worried, go see a doctor. Be sure to make your parents pay for it though.

    Lol, I know exactly where you're coming from and like I said, I don't have a lot of faith in internet diagnosis. Just wanted to see if other people had any experience with it.
