Travelling to Brisbane soon!

Hey Ozzie PJ fans, I will be travelling to Brisbane soon for work and have 1 and half days of free time upon arrival. Anything you can recommend I visit? Nice bars, restaurants, record shops? Any information that will help me have a great stay is welcome!

    Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary..You can hand feed kangaroos !!! and have your pictures taken holding Koalas, its super cool....

    A day and a half spare time. Hmmm what can i suggest... Fly down to Sydney, an hour flight, you can probably get a flight with virgin or Jet star for $120ish aussie dollars, plus you get to see sydney harbour, the bridge, opera house all about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport. Not to mention good night life, good people good food.

    Last time I was in brisbane i was 2, and I went for expo 88 and all i remember was the chicken/duck dance. do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do quack quack quack quack.

    So yeh come to Sydney.

    as for restaurants/bars/record shops you can find a fair few in the city, all within walking distance of any hotel in the city.

    but yeah, search this site, it will tell you all you need to know about stink town, oops, i mean brisbane.

    I have been to Sydney before - this time I will stay in Brisbane because I have to be in Gold Coast after that for business. Thank you all anyway!

    I could tell u which one I would prefer:) You have so much to look at on the sydney one. What do u get on the brissie one? A beautiful view of the shop, the school and the pub :D
