I'm calling it right now A's will make the playoffs. The Angels are banged up, and the M's are overrated. Harden is looking really good they got a good young team, and the best GM in baseball what's not to love.

  • I love this thread and the threadstarter. I think we will be better then people think but we won't get more then 80 wins in my opinion.

But I do think we will be good next year with all the young players getting experiance.

I hope Harden can make it through the season...

I heard some stat that every team that has won the Cactus league in Spring Training has gone on to make the playoffs.... so we're looking GOOD!!:D:cool:

Is it just me cause I'm an A's fan, but that red sox runner was out at the plate last night wasn't he? The tag look good Suzuki had the plate blocked. That call cost them the game. Anyways as I type this Harden is looking really good again against the best team in baseball. Cy young winner anybody.

was at the game today ... (and last night)

Street better get his shit together for you guys ... he does NOT look right. I don't think he topped 90 at all today.

I like Hannahan at 3rd ... made some great plays over the last 2 games.

Cust ... all or nothing. He walks, Homers or Ks ... that's all he knows.

Just watching them over the first week, while it's early ...... I think .500 is their upper limit.

    The Big Hurt is BACK!!!

I've been known in the past to curse out Billy Beane's decisions on letting players go, but lately he's been looking like a genius.

let's Giambi go... he's always hurt now
let's Tejada go... he sucks now
let's Zito go... he sucks now, and he's WAY overpaid

The Big Hurt is frustrating to watch hit, I'm glad he's gone from Toronto

basically can't hit anything unless it's a mistake fastball middle-in

he cant hit anything to centre, RF anymore

that's just because he hated your shitty team. 3 for 3 yesterday... and let's not forget his 2006 season with the A's (39 hr, 114 rbis)

  • I really like this A's team.

I also like that we will add Harden and Chavez to the team soon.

That said the Angels look really tough once they get Lackey back.
