So, I accidently put a bottle of water in my purse and it wasn't all the way closed and some of it spilled and it got my iPod wet. And now it won't power on or anything. It wasn't a whole lot of water, not even like 1/4 of the bottle. But still, it's not working now. Anyone had this issue?? What should I do?? I'm so sad!

    I swear this works...

    I swear this works...
Fill a bowl with uncooked rice, bury the IPOD in the rice... let it sit in there for a day or 2. The rice absorbs the water.

This alos works for cell phones!

like they said. You have to allow the thing to totally dry out. I wouldn't try to turn it on for a few days either...

DON'T TURN IT ON! It wil arc if you do, causing it to short out. Let it dry completely. If you can, open it up. It will dry faster.

Thanks for the advice, guys! I took it out of the plastic case I had it in, but I don't know how to open it up? Anyways, I will put it in rice and leave it alone for a few days. Again, thanks for the help! :)
