Does anyone else find the baseball playoffs to be really boring?

I am actually enjoying this year more than I have the past decade or so. I like the fact that there are some different teams in it and that NONE of them are the Yankees, Braves(and they are my fav team) Mets, or Cards. Boston is there, but about to be bounced. Cubs would have been fun to watch make a better run, or ATLEAST get there... I think the ratings are prob not the best, and the WS will be rated low, but myself...I am REALLY diggin' it this year. GO RAYS!!! GOOD STORY imho.....:)

I think it's boring, because right now, games are in the day which is harder for me to follow.

It'll be a good world series I think.

this world series? does it have other teams from all around the world? nope? call it the fucking US series or something then!!! ;)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

If your neighbors to the south didn't exclude baseball from their Olympics, then we might let your team into the league. No respect for the round ball over there damnit!!

Yeah but they never seem to pass the 'drug and alcohol and deep-fried mars bar test'. Shame on them!

On topic, baseball is boring whatever way you want to swing it (See what I did there?) It's the cool man's cricket, which is.... yeah, exactly.

Seriously, I haven't seen a shot like that since Andres Galaraga put a ball all the way at the top of the bleachers in left field at Dolphin Stadium, or Cecil Fielder's shot out of Tiger Stadium. HUGE belt to right field. I'm still in awe of it.

Matt Stairs rocked it. Greatest home run in Phillies history in my lifetime.

It was awesome, but let's not go nuts here. Dykstra's home run in the 10th inning on the road in Atlanta after Mitch Williams with help from Kim Batiste blew a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the ninth with the Series tied at 2-2 was bigger.

LA had to come in and get the save in the 10th after Mitch's second blown save of the NLCS.

So weird seeing Torre in the Dodgers uniform. But that commercial he did for an insurance company, I think, is hysterical. The last thing he says is "What did you think of my screenplay?" lol

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I was in high school and in South Philly everyone thought the Phils were dead having blown a 3-0 in the bottom of the ninth. The streets went crazy after Dykstra's home run. All you could hear cars honking and people coming out in the street and high fiving. No one slept that night.

Plus the situation was totally different a game winning home run in a 2-2 series in extra innings is more important than in a 2-1 series, but I digress.

I think Stairs home run was more of a surprise and a cherry on top after Victorino's homer.

But everyone thought the Phils were dead in 93 after Mitch blew that save and that the worst to first dream was dead.

Yep, after Dykstra homered to lead the comeback in Game 6. Mitch blew 3 saves in those 2 series.

I don't get it. He just happened to smash the dreams of all kids around the age of 12 in my generation. What kills me is he does seem to know his shit - "What Brett should do...yada yada yada." Why didn't you take your own advice 15 fucking years ago?!!?
