H2H Fantasy Football Is Such A Stupid Idea

Head to head sucks! You can't affect what the other person does so why are there matchups? For 2 weeks I scored the second most points in my league, unfortunately the guys I was facing scored the most.

Are there any leagues that just have everyone battling it out?

but is that not the point kinda. its like real footbal. you can score the second most points two weeks in a row, but it the team you are playing both weeks are the two teams that score the most points that week, you still lose, points or not.

i dont know, maybe im missing something.

My H2H leagues are always competitive. Except for our keeper league where My friend has LT and AP on the same team.

It's the most competitive format. The Sit/Start process is a pain sometimes especially when your guy has a big game.

I sat out Cotchery this week who had a nice game but luckily my RB starters Larry Johnson and LT both had monster games.

I'm still undefeated at 4-0. Beginners luck baby!

Ya know what is really lame? Playing by overall points total - now that's lame.

I thought of that before but then I realized that in real football you put a defense out there and can stop the other team from scoring. Here you just put out your team and leave it to luck.

I will admit it is fun following my player's stats every week, I just can't help but feel there's a better way to score.

This happened to me first week of the season. Don't worry, you will be on the winning side one time.

I'm figuring I'll end up with a pretty good record at the end of the year, but right now I'm thinking for next season I'll do this ESPN league again but then I want to join another that has different style rules too.

I guess the threat title is misleading... H2H isn't a stupid idea, it's that that I'm looking for something else too.
