I used to be both a blood donor, and an anticipated organ donor. However, since I had cancer, I am out of the running for either. Bummer. On both counts.

I think it's a great thing to do--you are going to need them! :)
I still want you all to "take care"--I am just damn tired of typing it.

I'm an organ donor. I can't give blood due to a minor latex allergy - or so they tell me.

Yes, I have the PINK dot on my license.

I am also on the list for bone marrow. I was close to giving once--had to take a ton of blood tests but then someone else matched better!!!
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

The night we spent in that hotel room was wonderful until I woke up in the bathtub filled with ice and you and my kidney were gone.
When you requested the room next to the ice machine at check-in that should have tipped me off.

that made me ill to even think about it!!! hahaha.

but uhmmm if you want to.. ill pay for your other one this time

P.S it makes me really happy to see so many of you are! I have learned a huuuuge amount since meeting my fiance. everything from dialysis to transplants to nephrologists. but one of the best moments, was being in the transplant ward and looking into the rooms of all the people who got a second chance out of life! they were given something back. i think most people go through their lives and never realize just how different it could be.

You're not joking. I remember in college a couple of my friends signed up for bone marrow studies in college and told me the procedure was the most painful thing they've ever had done to them.

i will be an organ donor when i meet my demise.
it's on my driver's license as such.
perhaps i could donate a kidney or something before my death, i don't know.

my brother ryan (passed away 3 yrs ago) was a juvenile diabetic
from 2nd grade on. later in his early to mid 20's his kidney's failed.
he did dialysis for a bit till he receieved a doube organ transplant.
    a kidney and a pancreas.
my brother Ryan rocks, he is always around keeping me on track.

its so hard to stand by the people you love and be so helpless. Good for you that you can give back to someone in the same position as you

i think i'm too twisted to be an organ donor, if part of me is transplanted to someone else they might get corrupted ;)

    oh yeah my mind...
    good idea miss genie

    never thought about that..whoops
maybe they wouldn't what my brain after all.
it's probably covered in bong resin and whatnot

they'd be waking up in the odd small hours of the morning writing like an idiot.

i don't think they'd be waking up, what is likely to happen is me waking up in someone else's body, cause i believe our brain makes us what we are..........and a heart to some extent, because it's linked closely to the brain, so it's bound to have stored memory of the person who was alive before.
