thanks for posting! i've never heard of the original SOL, and i've always thought the original last kiss was too cheerful for a song about death

wow.. i think i knew that before but i forgot and had to relearn it. still too cheery. people can say what they want about the song, PJ's version is by far the best, he sounds so sexy and mournful when he wails and when he sings "i lifted her head she looked at me and said hold me darling for a little while". with this and the other version, it's almost as if they're HAPPY she died

this version sounds like a happy song. last kiss was supposed to be a sad song.
