Symbols Of Transformation

This may sound a bit kooky, I know…but I’m looking for things that symbolize transformation. I don’t mean a process, but more of a simple, defined image. An example that comes to mind would be a butterfly (going from caterpillar to cocoon to butterfly). I’m trying to get some ideas for a project of mine, that’s all.
If I like your response, I’ll be your best friend for a limited time. Thanks!

water evaporating (liquid transformed into a gas)

grand canyon (used to be flat land, water transformed it into a canyon)

anything that sheds it's skin visably...such as a snake molting.
although i think the butterfly is *the* best representation overall.
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
what kind of transformation?
Don't get it wrong, I don't wanna make fun of you, it just came to my mind...

well.. with that note you can possibly look at thing like yin-yang, life-death transformations... all things are cyclical... or am I going the wrong way.???

haha how'd you guess? Thanks for the links.
I'm looking for something similar. I know what I want but I can't find a symbol to represent it... frustrating.
