I just recieved my San DiegoII ticket. And it occured to me that I now have a ticket with someone else's name on it, that is nothing more than a printout.

I would HATE to fly all the way across the USA just to be denied entry at the door.

Anyone ever have a problem using a stubhub ticket?

Is it one of those Ticketmaster printouts?

You will be ok unless the seller make multiple copies and sold them, only the first one will get in. And since you aren't the actually TM account holder, you will be out of luck if someone gets in first.

you'll be fine. i bought pj tix on stubhub once and they had someone else's name printed. i was worried, but it worked. of course, i was only going to jersey, 2 hour drive. if i was flying across the country, i'd be nervous too. email stubhub and ask them about it.

Same here - I will say I got very good service. The tickets I bought were lost, by FEDEX no less, and they (not fedex) really did a lot to make sure I got another set in time, at no extra expense to me, and I know it cost them money.

Ok, I'm feeling a bit better now :)

    Thanks everyone!
  • Just to be safe, you could get there extra early and try to be the first one in. If there are multiple copies of the same ticket out there, the first one scanned will be the only one that gets in.

stub hub guarantees their tix or they refund you.

Under normal circumstances, I would not think twice.. but since I will be flying all the way to san diego from DC, I feel a bit more aprehensive about the whole thing.

I will be arriving early, thats for sure!!

no but I know plenty of people that have had problems with ticketfast printouts bought from resellers

Never had a problem with StubHub but have always made sure I was getting actual tickets, not a printout. Figure the couple of extra bucks is well spent rather than to wonder if any copies of the fastticket printout were out there.

I've used StubHub regularly for sporting events and never had an issue. They seem pretty reputable to me im my past dealings, so I'm sure you'll be fine.
