i went out with this girl once who LOVED, no shit, to go to the look out area at the airport to watch planes take off.

she said she didnt know why.

i told her i thought it was because she lked the idea of the people on the planes going away, to some cool place.

so that became "our place" we would sit there, drink cheap champagine and for every plane that would take off i would make up stories about a person on the plane , where they were going and why. she would get so excited. lol i have no idea why that made her so happy.

even after we stopped seeing each other, every now and then she would call me and ask me to go there with her.

    cheesy i know.
    Peace, Love.

It would depend on the person's interests. I love animals...so my fiance arranged for a special tour at the zoo that let us feed the animals, etc. It was the coolest thing ever :)

This question is for the Guys......say a girl that you had a thing for was planning a "surprise" date for you.. what would want to do?

Ya, ya I get it. SEX. What else?

Let me guess... pearl jam and sex.

Seriously guys, what would be a date that would make your socks roll up and down?

    i dont wear socks...;) :p

i really think it comes down to the dude your going out with.....do you know any of his interests? i know this isn't answering your question but if you ask me what i would want.....make me a nice dinner and sit on the sofa watching a movie.....i'm a cheap date....:D

I don't know a tremendous amount about him, although we met through a mutual friend (two times removed), I suppose I could hit them up for info.

I know he is really into hiking and boating, neither of which will be in the cards for a rainy saturday. I also know he likes to drink guiness... since we drank a considerable amount of a keg last weekend.

You are right though, it deffinately depends on the person.

I went bowling the night I met the person that became my (ex) fiance

Bowling is fun! I'm not very good at it though. I kind of just roll the ball down the lane :)
I haven't gone bowling in the longest.

apparently I'm not 'ready to date' though  or so I've heard, so what do I know?

okay, so my airport idea was shot down, thats cool. when it comes down to it, im very very easy, i have always been way more into just hanging out with ( enter adult beverage of choice here ) and just talking.

its crazy how much you find out about each other without the distraction of " a cool date "

but then again, like i said, im a geek !
