Liam Finn rocked the house tonite at Jammin Java. The venue was quite small... not enough room for Liam to jam on the drums as much as in San Diego. It was a solid show though, he didn't dissapoint.

It appeared that most of the crowd was there to see Liam, who was the opener for another act. He recieved a standing ovation, and did an encore :) It was well worth my $15.

I bumped into Liam after the show in the parking lot. He is a super nice guy! We chatted for a while, I mentioned that I saw him out in San Deigo with Ed and he told me what an experience that tour was for him. He seemed to have a genuine affection for ED.

Anyway, it was a cool experience.

That's cool. Glad you got to meet him. I loved him and would go to see him anywhere close to here. :)

I went into the San Diego show without knowing a thing about him. I was impressed, and I like the album more each time I listen to it :)

We loved him in Vancouver, then got to see him twice in SD. I also bought his cd. Just great. :)

Heh nice... well i remember when Betchadupa opened for Pearl Jam along with Johnny Marr and the Healers in Sydney 2003... Liam's band got to play with Ed on vocals for some Split Enz songs... so i'm guessing that may have been the first performance together... Eddie made them start the song again cos someon had messed up apparantly ;)

oh and i'm seeing Liam soonish..
