    Are you thinking Compton?
    Camden is mild.
    Well, not really but c'mon.
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

Doesn't Camden have the highest crime rate per capita in the entire US? I could be wrong.
It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win

    yep...I'm pretty sure it is.

I won't ever go to camden again to see Pearl Jam. Plus it's far from where I live NYC is so much more convenient.

haha agreed. I went to school in Camden and I've worked there twice...so not phased by it at all...at least not there section where the arena is - it's right across the street from luxury condos, an acquarium and L-3 Communications...not exactly a war zone :p There are definitely sections you wouldn't wanna venture into...but that area of the city is mild for sure.

last time I went to Camden was to see Pearl Jam there in 06 and we waited until the last minute to get a hotel.................and the only place we could get a hotel room was in Trenton

    which is just as bad

well while we were there some dude told me he hired a prostitute and she stole his money, credit cards, his cell phone, and watch

wow I wish I could say "and I'm never going back again"

but it will be worth it

    Come on people

Near the venue is not a bad area

Go with a group if you're nervous or worried

I've been going to shows there for a long time and have not had a bad experience at all

I've taken both routes either from Philly on the Ferry or drove into Camden

I have been taking my wife to the most recent PJ shows and don't even think twice about it

    I agree.
It is like saying you are afraid to go into NYC to MSG.
I have always felt safe in Wash. DC. It is an awesome city with really wonderful people. As is Philly, but I sure as shit am not strolling around after dark outside the immediate area of my hotel.

    To be honest with you

I'm more nervous in Atlantic City then in Camden

Maybe because I've been to Camden so much and feel more comfortable
