Is anybody as excited about this show as I am? Any Douglas Coupland fans in the pit??? It's starting in about 2 minutes and I can't wait.

  • I love Douglas Coupland's books. Not read JPod yet... Kind of been put off by all the fancy mumbo jumbo at the start.. and in the middle.....

This programme's on US tele right? Good, so I'm not missing anything.
'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

  • I don't know if it's on in the States. I'm in Canada and it's on CBC, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's not on in the States.

You're still not really missing all that much though. It's definitely not as good as I wanted it to be, which is a premature evaluation given that it's only 20 minutes in.

It definitely has the "I was made in Canada" mark on it, which isn't necessarily bad, but not the best either.
  • Okay, it's over. And I think it won me over by the end of it. I'll definitely watch it again next week.

    Anybody else?
