Any college football fans over here? This is a great weekend for some big rivalries. Alabama v. Auburn (Iron Bowl), Florida v. Florida State, Oklahoma v. Oklahoma State (Bedlam Series), Oregon v. Oregon State (The Civil War), West Virginia v. Pittsburgh, and Ole Miss v. Mississippi State (Egg Bowl).

If Bama and Florida take care of business tomorrow, next Saturday's SEC championship game between the Crimson Tide and the Gators is going to be a semi-final for the national championship game with the winner advancing to Miami.
United Center (Chicago): 8/24/09
Gibson Amphitheatre (Los Angeles): 10/7/09

I can tell by your username that you're going to be very disappointed next weekend :)

    Go Gators!
I am lost, I'm no guide. But I'm by your side...

As long as Bama can beat Auburn tomorrow and get to twelve wins, then the season will have been a good one. I never would have thought that Saban would have Bama ranked #1 and undefeated in late November in only his second season.

Florida is a great team; I'm not sure that Bama can stay within 17 points of UF.

I don't know. This might be the best defense Florida faces all year. Of course I thought South Carolina would be, but they rushed for 300+ against them. They made the Gamecocks' 3rd ranked D look foolish.

That team's just been on a mission since the Ole Miss loss. They have looked unstoppable since then, and I don't think anything's going to derail them.

I do love that Bama blew out overrated Clemson in week one though :D Though a Gator fan first, I've been in South Carolina longer and graduated from USC. So any team who can fuck up Clemson is ok with me :)
