PSP Question

i just got a psp off ebay, the listing said it was basically just the psp and charger....so whatever. but now if i want to put music from my computer on it, what do i need? is there a software installation disc that comes with it normally? i have a usb cord from my ps3 that connects it to my laptop, but nothing is happening
ps- and i know to save it i need to buy a memory card, but just want to at least see if i can load it successfully

it acts like a external hard drive. Just make sure to put music in the music folder

Their called data cable. One end plugs into a standard usb port and the other end is small and will plug into the PSP
All you gotta do is a) have a memory stick b) have the cable...you can use the PS3 cable, I do and c) have a computer.
Once connected on the PSP, you have to select USB Connection (It's in the settings option) and it will automatically open up on your computer. Just drag your music files into the music folder (on the psp) and that's it.
You can also transfer that data to the PS3. Connect your PSP just as you do your controller, select USB Connection on your PSP and you can transfer music, vids, and all kinds of files back and forth from your PS3, PSP, and laptop.

You can pretty much do anything on it if you wanted to. It's been hacked and cracked so many times that you can go to Homebrew and put literally anything on it.
