i thought that was partly the point... that these bored kids got in way over their heads. ill watch it this week and get back to you all, cos i know you're all eagerly awaiting my thoughts!

Rather than being birthed like a normal child, Chuck Norris instead
decided to punch his way out of his mother's womb. Shortly thereafter
    he grew a beard.

it is just funny to see him try to be tough.

  • I just watched it on HBO

I didn't think it was bad

The guy's are a bunch of idiots on how they handled the whole thing but what do you expect from drug dealers

Timberlake wasn't horrible in it with all his fake tattoos

Yep, that was it... I think Justin Timberlake actually did a really good job. By that I mean he didn't seem like he hadn't really acted before... he seemed quite natural. It was a decent film but a bit too cheesy towards the end.
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you

i liked the movie a lot. very gritty and great acting all around. i've seen few film characters more disturbing than ben foster was in that movie, and that includes the guy from 'no country for old men.' everyone else did a great job and timberlake was incredible. the fact that people laugh at him pretending to be tough shows how good he was... that's exactly how his character is supposed to be. a fun-loving guy caught up with bad people and too scared to do anything about it or stand up to anyone.

yep... Timberlake gets a bad rap for being in that boy band but the guy has a lot of talent...

    I want to see that...

I just don't know if I could handle watching Justin Timberlake in a movie.

don't be so pretentious ;) he is excellent.

I'm put off by him, for no particular reason. I'm not one of those "I'm so cool, I can't like a guy who was in a boy band" people. I actually really dug his first single off of his first solo record. I'm not just really compelled to see him act.

    I'll probably rent it sometime.

Just finished watching this film, man it was heavy going in places. I won't give anything away for the people that haven't seen it yet, but the scene towards the end (people who've seen it will know which one) - man that was heart-breaking stuff, I felt physically sick. I have to say the acting was superb throughout, including Justin Timberlake. Yeah it took a little while to get used to, but he easily held his own against the rest of the cast.
