I've been looking around on EB for some good artists out there that you can buy prints of. My apartment is full of Dan McCarthy prints, Klausen posters and a couple Ames prints. I'm trying to broaden by horizons...anyone know anyone out there along those lines?

are you specifically looking for Poster art??? I have a really good friend who does poster work....but not so much anymore. He was commossioned by the Grateful Dead in the 90s for some posters but Jerry Garcia died. A ton of his stuff is online at Ebay for sale...VERY TRIPPY artist. His name is Michael Everett.

tons of stuff(not for bands) with reptiles and fish....and he has done some other stuff too..you cant tell really good on some photos of his work...but there are tons of hidden stuff inside things in his art....turtles with roses in its shells dead inspired stuff and the likes

    check it out

I love Alex Grey's work. Not much to explain, it's a more see for yourself and read his own writings about them...

Frank Kozik is sort of the godfather of modern-day concert posters.

His work is very colorful and demented (cute bunnies shooting herion, etc.)

I did enjoy those arguments... but this thread should remain untainted.

There's an entire Kinkade shop in Solihull not far from my home. I vomit blood every time I walk past.

I have a Kozik Smokin' Bunny hanging over my fireplace.
I also have some Patrick Nagel serigraphs I bought in the 80s (when he was still alive).
My favorite poster is a Queens of The Stone Age skeleton guitar from the Grove at Anaheim by EMEK (my favorite poster artist).
I also have an EMEK T.S.O.L. old school skateboard hanging on my wall... along with a Kozik Smokin' Bunny deck (it glows in the dark) and a Pearl Jam skate deck (the black one with the face and the 'DogTown' cross) up on the walls... outfitted with Indy 139s and Spitfire 50s.

This really rather beautiful piece of music was inspired by, and intended to be played in that chapel.
