I just stared tonight... What have I missed?

can anyone give me the:
who, what, where, when and whys of the plot?

    Missed the opening episodes too, but I understand the main character was hit by a car and wakes up in the 70s. I thought it was pretty funny.

    I liked it....just wondering why he gets the visions, like tonight of the kid in the nirvana shirt.

    not totally sure, but think it might be that in the modern day he's in a coma, so it's part of a dream....I never saw the conclusion either.

    it's a remake of a british series. I like it. you missed 3 previous episodes. He gets hit by a car and goes back 1973. He occasionaly sees something from the future. Like the kid with the shirt. And bush speaking on the tv. I saw them filming this episode a few weeks ago. I saw Robert Klein outside of his trailer. They filmed those scenes in Michael Imperiole's studio on 29th st.

    I'm not sure of the exact origin of the title but I'd guess it might have something to do with how Tyler disagrees with the way things are done in 1973 as opposed to the present, meaning that 1973 is the Mars.

    It's also the song that was playing when he got hit by the car :p
