By the way the hospital that I was at today Is the worst. They waited until my fever reached 104 to give any type of medication and the doctor was such an arrogant jerk I could have done a better job than him and I already got yelled at for being on my phone by a PA. This has been an eventful day! Excuse me if my paragraph doesn't make sense they loaded me up on ambian and some other pain meds and it took me like a half hour to write this. But I just wanted to thank everyone who sent good vibes, I really appreciate it

I actually kind of like hospitals... I mean, when it's nothing too serious. I get to sit and read all day, it's pretty sweet...
until you remember you're sick. then you're ready to just beat the shit out of the doctor and make a run for it. good luck. if you get your tonsils out, atleast you get ice cream.
Answers are fatal (my cousin and best friend ) is in the hospital with a 103 fever that won't go down. They are running tests today and think she needs her tonsils out due to an infection. (all this info has been passed thru my mother so it may vary in accuracy). This little jammer just turned 17 in August and has already had Mono, her wisdom teeth out, strep throat, and this is her second time with such a high fever, all since her birthday. She's terrified of hospitals and needs to be there over night, if not longer.
***please send good vibes not only for this but that she's able to finish out her senior year with out any more illness!

Good vibes sent. When I started college, I was getting strep throat every other week. As soon as I would recover, a day later it would come back. I had a constant high fever as well. I wound up having my tonsils out at age 20. It was not fun, but I never had the problem again. I think the best part was the recovery. I was in the kids wing of the hospital.

she's out of the hospital...but the meds that they gave her for the infection caused heart palpitations so she needed to get off of them. They originally thought she could wait to have her tonsils taken out, but now are saying that she needs them out ASAP before the infection spreads and becomes more dangerous.
