I'm at the park on the swings enjoying the day:) music in my ears, sun on my face and the breeze in my hair... I could swing all day:)

    Ok takin a bit of a rest to let the other kids get a chance... Found a shady spot in the field and am laying down with my bare feet in the grass. Watching the trees sway in the gentle breeze and having ths sun shine thru the leaves. :) what a nice day:)

    that is an awesome time, just being all chillaxin in the grass watching the sky(good chance to write some poetry stuff.)
    and your swinging bit is cool too.
    i loved swings as a kid and i am sure i still would :)

    edit: i would enjoy very much to swing on a porch swing with someone awesome as fireflies flash through the night around us, good times.

    i have to admit....swinging can hurt ur ass....i don't have a child sized ass! And swinging there for a few hours...you start to feel a little cramped in the seat:)
    oh and laying in the field...I'm sure I've probably got 10 or so ticks in my hair just waiting to be found:) but still very fun!

    heh - in this little town in summer we walk across town from pub to pub on a night out ... you can cut right thru a park and the have a set of those huge tall chain swings - sometimes ill hop on and swing so high, and lean right back almost upside down and watch the ground go swoosh and then the stars swing up :) ... since im usually a bit pissed its a wonder i havent fallen off and broken my neck - but i love it .... makes you feel like you are flying ... i do it thru the day too if we are walking thru, but those stars are the highlight ;)

    I was going really high at a few points....felt really cool:)
    I would love to swing at night, i think it would add to the experience :D maybe with someone this time!

    in high school i used to take my girlfriend to the park and swing. it was so relaxing. life got too fast...i need to do more stuff like that again. i hike a lot so that's similar....but swinging is better.

    in australia ... who saw the guy on medical emergency last nite - fell off a swing in the park across the road from the hospital and broke his elbow so badly he'll never be able to straighten his arm properly again :eek:

    believe me i am the queen of uncoordination ... and i have a serious issue with heights ...

    but put me on a swing and ill get so high im nearly parallel with the ground at the top of the swing!

    I have sucked at swinging since I was a kid. I wish it wasn't so.
