Yes. Sounds like it could be a herniated disc. Any numbing in your legs?

I am not a doctor and I also do not play one on TV (but I do have Geico)

Um, I would say yes. It sounds like it could be your sciatica. :)

Are you the same person who hasn't eaten anything for a week?

Good idea. Sounds like you have a nasty virus of some sort.

This is a good site. There is a symptom checker section.

Yeah, sounds like a weird case of sciatica. I suffered through a few months of that last year after herniating my disc.

A great sciatica reducing stretch that I do is what I call the "serpent stretch." That's where you get on your stomach and push your upper body up in the air by extending your arms with your hands flat on the ground.

But, if that stretch causes any kind of pain at all, stop.

Eventually if you get to the point where you can do that stretch free-handed, then you've rehabilitated quite a bit.

I wouldn't worry about a doctor's appointment. I would go straight to a walk-in clinic so they can do what are called "foot-drop" tests to see if you already have any nerve damage.

For a while now I haven't had feeling in 3 toes off and on...and my feet fall asleep faster then they ever used to, could this be from nerve damage?

I have the same thing but it is recurring. It is my L4 and L5 discs that are herniated. When i put my leg in certain positions it feels like a dagger in my lower back. Numbness and tingling in the toes.

I had to get an MRI a few years ago, and am on the verge of getting another.

That "serpent strech" someone mentioned seemed to help a bit for me too. But when i first feel it coming on again, I try to ice it and take some tylenol or advil.

Good luck, it seems theres not much to help sometimes.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)
