I loooove summer I'll be sad when it ends - I love the heat, the long days, plus I get Fridays off all summer off. I hate the cold weather...but autumn is a pretty season, so I'll try to get myself excited about it.

I know, I am trying to spend these last few before school starts weeks just doing all we can to enjoy it. I hate school. I know the little varments need it (j/k I love my kids really) but the teachers act like I am also their student.
awful shit. My mom was just a mom went we went to school she made lasagna. Now people are expected to be a lot more than loving parents....project makers, tutors, pyche counselors, police (if you have that lovely online thing that lets you police your kids schoolwork day to day....people really do that, really......)
so messed up. I will also be going back to school. that is fun.
but summer is still here!!!!and I am still trying to take a vacation right before the year of school begins.

I cannot deny it any longer .....school will start Monday for my kids. My college boy started yesterday; seemed like yesterday that I just took him to kindergarten. It's all good though I guess.
It is weird, but when he graduated 8th grade, being my first one to enter the great beyond (as I looked at it), I was weeping non stop.
Well, at the time I use to read the newspaper everyday. And I also read to obits. I saw a lot of kids who never even would make it that age, or very much past it anyway. And it was like God taking me by the chin and saying,"here, look. You have two ways you go; you grow or you die....as a mom what would you pick for your kids?"
It straightened me up. I looked at it differently. But it is still hard.
All times changing gets me a bit off kilter. Except for when winter changes to spring......but summer to fall, ugh!
