Been a while since I've fallen asleep when it was still dark outside
I blame Winter.
Yea, it's sad, dunno what the deal is. I try and try but end up back here or watching TV. I tire myself out to the point that the only reason I do fall asleep is by passing out. Strange.

Anyhow....If I had to guess, I'd say that you're losing sleep because you are stressed the hell out.
This is not good. One word as to why it is not good: Salmon.
As you may already know, Salmon once a year make an incredible journey upstream into the mountains where they lay eggs.
The reason why they're able to do this is because their adrenal glands secrete a special hormone which gives them bionic strength.
But the flipside is that this hormone destroys them from the inside out, which is why they die soon after accomplishing their mission.
The same thing happens to humans when they are under a lot of stress. Our adrenal glands secrete the SAME EXACT hormone, just not to such an enormous extent.
But, it eventually has serious consenquences on the body, including the brain. The brain will actually begin to undergo an early deterioration process, which leads to early onset of memory loss and dementia.
Keep that stress under control. You can do that by doing the following:
Eat well and exercise
use stress reduction techniques such as meditation, yoga, relaxation tapes...etc.
Whenever I suggest meditation to people they go, "Huh? Oh, I'm a christian."
There is such a thing as non-spiritual meditation.
It's experiences just like the one you're going through now that have a devastating impact on the mental faculties later on in life. Be careful.
