    Good News for Lions fans, assuming the hire someone decent to runt the team. But still a few years away since they will have to rebuild and the rest of the division looks strong right now.

    they need more than just a new gm. and whats he gonna do this year anyway? maybe 3 or 4 years down the line....but at least this guy doing more harm than good is over

    I don't think those duds that were drafted in the first round are the biggest problems, its the fact that they never seem to draft or find diamonds in the rough in the lower rounds or undrafted free agents. It seems to me the best teams in the league Dallas, the Giants, Green Bay etc. seem to have players on their roster that were picked up very late in the draft or undrafted free agents.
