Yep. I mean, I don't advocate 13 year olds going out and having sex or anything... you still should be old enough to maturely decide to do it while knowing all the implications. I just think the idea of virginity being this pure thing that should be preserved is a dated way of thinking. Obviously this girl does too... I think she should feel empowered for bucking a stupid social idea.

[EDIT] Which is why I get frustrated when I see these Disney teens all wearing those chastity bracelets. Adults love it because it displays a conservative way of thinking about sex that was widely the norm in their time. But really, it's just an outdated regressive idea. The teen celebrities wearing them are trying to resurrect a dead philosophy on sex even though it died for good reason... because people finally started realizing that it's BS, and that sex is a great thing that can be enjoyed safely well before marriage.

i suspect all of them are full of shit. no way those girls aren't fucking guys by the dozen. britney swore she was a virgin for years and it turns out she was screwing a manager or something at 14. those are just marketing ploys. there's also the whole movement of girls wearing those bracelets and then going down on guys or having anal sex and claiming to still be virgins... but im cool with that.
