One of the scariest things I've ever witnessed....Like 15 feet away in my office drive way

I'm smoking a cigarette ready to run to my car in the downpoar with a few co-workers and then it happened. I figure I am good for the rest of my life if this happened

Hairs are still standing on my body... weird feeling

Almost got blasted myself a few weeks back. I had that weird tingle feeling for like 1/2 an hour afterwards.

Scared the shit out of me.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

That strike knocked out my electricity for a minute. I'm on the UWS NYC. Shit.

  • I remember looking out our kitchen window during a close storm into a little wooded area (20 ft away) and there is a flag pole near. I swear I turned to my wife and said "wouldn't it be messed up if lightning hit the pole"....within 5 seconds, Lightning stuck a tree right in front of me. I am pretty sure I had to change my underwear.

same thing happened to me about a year ago. i was on lunch sitting in my car listening to the radio, and my radio just weird for a second. i knew it was coming, and looked up at the tree tops about 20 feet away and a second later BAM ! it hit the tree.
the strangest thing about for me was that i had a feeling it was coming then looked right at the tree that it hit.

    very cool shit though.
    Peace, Love.
