Anyone ever seen a film in this format? I just picked up a bunch of tickets for The Dark Knight midnight showing in Imax.

How much better is it than a standard theatre?t was only a few bucks more than a regular cinema

    I saw Fantasia 2000 when it first came out and it was amazing.

    I saw the Matrix Revolutions and the one about the moon (with Tom Hanks, I think). Worth it.

    I saw The Matrix sequels, Attack of the Clones and Superman Returns on IMAX, and it's a great experience! Superman featured some 3D elements, so that was really cool too.

    If it were more convenient to do so, I'd see every movie available on the IMAX format rather than standard format...the picture and sound is better and the size is just incredible. (The sound is really intense.)

    I see your from Long Island, did you see your films at Cradle of Aviation in Garden City? If so whats up with the Dome aspect? Are the seats better(I heard there are individual speakers at every seat)
