I think I've proven that theory many times over.

TPBM is pretty happy they didn't participate in the mimosas-red wine-beer-margaritas-root beer shnapps that one of their friends enjoyed throughout the day Saturday and into the wee hours of Sunday morning. Instead, TPBM stuck to their proven two beers-20 ounces of water/two beers-20 ounces of water, etc. and thus did not experience any regrets (i.e. no flashing of body parts that society demands remain covered, no head spins, no vomiting, and was able to be up and around cheerfully by 8 a.m. Sunday).
