False. All my neatness and organization is sucked up at work. Our garage is a maze of technical rescue equipment including stretchers and litters and high angle rescue ropes and pulleys and plastic reindeer and scuba gear and bikes and a kayak and a snowblower and really serious looking power tools that never get used and the occasional mouse and dog crates and dog lifejackets and antique chairs and I a couple of old fridges.

    Yours?

it looks alright, somewhat organized, only after I nagged Mr. Z to get a storage unit because he told me to pack up cuz we were moving (2 years ago!)

Does Mr. Unlost usually listen to you or do you have to let him make a mistake then say 'I told you so'

He never listens to me. Neither does my husband. I think that is the way of the man.

    tpbm had a wonderful Friday.
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
yes I did because I read an article about '15 secrets about men that you did not know' and I laughed at every secret because it wasn't true "He really is listening to you...you may think he isn't but he really is, he's just processing it" no, he really isn't listening because he does the complete opposite of what I told him.

TPBM is now laughing and probably wants to know more 'secrets' to laugh at

Definitely. I know he is not listening!

tpbm need not waste my time on those other secrets because I am sure they are as useless as the first.

tpbm wonders why people think they can get away with having exotic animals as pets and never get hurt by them.

    True.

    TPBM wants a pet chimp.

    not particularly.

tpbm dreams of having a pika. (That is what I would go for. They are so darn cute although I don't think it would be too dangerous.)

Is that some kind of a fish?

TPBM is enjoying twilight on the back of the boat with the Dublin boot and a cold Long Trail IPA.

A pika is small hamster like animal but larger.

    Later on, most definately!

tpbm is going to head off to do some serious weeding soon
  • number1PJfannumber1PJfan Posts: 3,748
Did some yesterday as the ground is soft from some much needed rain we have gotten. Those little buggers have really taken root! I need to do much more!

tpbm will be more than happy to come help when she finishes her own weeding.

If by help, you mean hand Claireack a pear cider, yes. If you mean actually participate in weeding, not so much.

TPBM is having an unbelievably great day.

If by unbelievably great, you mean the weeds are still in the garden, then yes.

tpbm is very excited because they are figuring out how to work the torrents.
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Posts: 12,553
ummm... I don't know the answer to that. Is that code for something related to recreational drugs or something vaguely sexual?

TPBM doesn't get it. Most of the time.

I don't know if my liver could stand that.

Poor little beers, they only get to come out and play on the weekend?

tpbm has found out one too many times they should not text (or post) and drink.
  • ClaireackClaireack Posts: 13,561
 Sometimes should really just not open my mouth at all.

tpbm had a lovely afternoon looking at a lake in the sunshine.

False, it's just noon now and I'm on the boat. It's pouring and we are quite cozy.

tpbm is going to have a sandwich and a nap, not necessarily in that order.
