    Nope, my goal is for the mighty Honda Element to be parked in the driveway all the long holiday weekend. I will be biking or walking back and forth to the marina as I intend to enjoy several frosty beers.

    TPBM is very cautious about drinking and driving.

    TPBM is adjusting their plans for tomorrow, having just read an article about the Coast Guard issuing shark warnings for the New England coast. Specifically, “I have no doubt that a great white shark that swims into your comfort zone would surely find a splashing paddle or dangling hand inviting,” writes Al Johnson, spokesman for the Coast Guard in New England. He said a shark will “spend little time differentiating between boater, paddler and prey.”

    False. But in today's paper state officials are pshaw-ing and saying the Coast Guard is being overly cautious and graphic and that people shouldn't stay out of the water.

    Sounds an awful lot like the storyline in "Jaws" to me.
