  • false--I hope he brings rain far enough in. We haven't had any in awhile. Hope those on the coast are safe though.

tpbm lives near where Earl is going to hit?

True. Right now I'm watching the Pats/Giants preseason game.

TPBM just secured the patio furniture and took in the American flag in advance of Earl.

false, my patio is only big enough for one huge weber grill and a chair...no hurricanes here.

TPBM had a delicious dinner and is thinking, "beer sounds good"

It's so frigging hot here I'm not sure beer would help at this point!

Oh my God I must have heat stroke _ did I just type that beer might not help?!? :?

TPBM takes a shower before bed on days like this.

true...though we only had oh about a week of 80+ weather!

TPBM is horrified to hear that TPAT heard on the news that the owner of the smashed charger released a statement saying, "why did he pick my car? out of all the other cars on the street, why mine?"

Um... no. I'd be saying the same thing.

TPBM is still stuck on the whole adult-male-wearing-Keds angle of the story.

maybe a little...."the little blue rectangle on the back means you're cool!"

TPBM is not so worried about Earl (here's wishing Mr. Unlost the best in these circumstances!)

    (Thanks!)

No, I'm not worried. Mr. Unlost will be fine on Nantucket, the dogs will be safe with me, the boat (hopefully) will be safe on its storm mooring, and our house has been here since 1902 so I think we'll be fine... if I remember to shut all the windows before I leave.

TPBM doesn't get nervous about storms.

  • Thunder and lightning is the worst we ever get. A threat of a tornado ever now and again. So yea, storms don't scare me... :D

tpbm thinks mother nature can be down right cruel sometimes.

True, but not nearly as cruel as people.

TPBM just doesn't get some people. At all.
