How Was Your Memorial Day Weekend

Want to know how everyone enjoyed their unofficial start to summer. Personally, mine was great. Worked hard every day of the weekend, and then partied hard fri- mon. night. Spent every dollar i earned but it was well worth it. Had a couple of beach days too, to sleep off the hangovers, and a nice b-b-q today.

Played some Wiffle ball and "stared at some chicks in bikinis"(ny pj1). For me it doesn't get much better then that.

    Bummer, its only the beginnig though.

    Sat. Had a nice Sushi lunch, wife went to the mall and I chilled at my friends house.

    Sun. Took the family to Santa Barbara up the Pacific Coast Highway. Had some seafood on the pier. Took a shuttle across the harbor.

    Mon. Went to the Redondo Beach Festival. There was a Boston cover band, ate a lot of food, wife shopped, and my 4 year old son went on a few of the rides.


    I'm tired.

    Had to work for a couple hours Sun and Mon but did play an assload of Settlers of Catan with friends so overall I had a great time.

    Sat. Family chores, music lessons, food shopping, etc.

    Sun. Took the family to the Finger Lakes region in upstate NY. Went to some wineries. Bought some new red wine from Goosewatch. Had a great Mexican dinner in Ithaca. Mole chicken enchiladas, mmm.. Watched a movie in the evening. Great Day

    Mon. Relaxed.

    could not ask for a better weekend overall! friday went to the garden center, saturday spent the day working in the garden and dinner out to our fave italian place. sunday, spend ALL day out in the garden, total *relax* mode....embraced my inner sloth and koala. started the each day with breakfast al fresco, and sunday just never stopped. we had mimosas all day, went thru 2 bottles of champagne. :p then when it came time to BBq...switched over to bacardi and diet coke with lime. BLISS. the weather on sunday was SOOO perfect! if EVERY day of the summer could be like that, i would then fall in love with summer. i cannot believe what an amazing day it was. yesterday, went out and got a new 52" TV and all new surround-sound system. bit stressful all that :o...but hubby really wanted to go for it. ended the day well though, beautiful margherita pizza and a dvd. :D

    I worked Saturday and Sunday night, went out Sunday night, spent Monday recuperating. I too am glad that it's over.
    Stop following me, I do not know where I am going.

    Mon... Phillies game (20-5 win over the Rockies)

    Feeling the effects today, but its worth it

    what a great weekend I had! Best in a long time....

    Saturday went out on a limb and went out w/someone I just met and had a total blast. Went to see band who played some great 80's stuff - Cure, Smiths, U2, Echo and the Bunnymen....so much fun! One of those people I felt like I knew forever b/c the chemistry was so amazing :D:D

    Sunday went wine tasting out on LI. Weather was phenomenal. PERFECT day :) Saw some old friends that I have not seen in over a year and played left, right, center with some great girlfriends!

    Yesterday went to a BBQ - good food, drinks, and my best girlfriends from high school.

    Exhasuting, but loads of fun.
