Mine was white water rafting on zooms...
Absolutely intense, a bit scary, laugh your face off hilarious, thoroughly exhilarating, strikingly beautiful, and incredibly peaceful at times...all rolled into one.
The "apres ski" (so to speak) was absolutely exceptional as well. Delicious steak dinner (included), all the beer you could drink ((included) - we made friends with the keg guy) and extra steamy outdoor hot tubs to relax in and continue partying on at night.
grab six friends and do it.

Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

though white water rafting was fun too. except instead of curling up in a nice swank resort after, i had to drive 4 hours to get home after. that sucked :(
For some reason when I read the subject I immediately thought of Angela from "The Office"
"I look forward to drug testing. I used to get a runner's high, which is why now I swim."

It's at Moonlight Basin ski/snowboard resort in Big Sky, MT.
Awesome tight chutes, gnarly cliffs, fresh powder days after a storm.
You have to hike to the lift(a double chair that's almost as scary as some of the chutes). Then hike the ridgeline to the runs...

i've been white water rafting once (a very long time ago) and really enjoyed it. i'd love to do it again, but i'm going to wait until my sons are old enough to enjoy it with me. currently, i really love kayaking. i don't go enough, though. i hate the fact that the only overtime we get offered is in the summer. a lot of saturdays that i should be home or out on the water get spent at work.

Scared me silly.

Folks, we have a Winner! That's outstanding!
Agreed...

I think Jo Williams has had a couple of Greatful Dead experiences, so we might have to wait for her to weigh in.

The sound coming off the concrete wall behind us was amazing.
I'm gratetul for the ones in our group who did not partake in consumption.

Best high? Lots of them via the green. Hell, I'm feelin alright and smiling beyond the fields right now.
Not via the green (well maybe just a bit fer chrissakes) - my two favorites: First time meeting the love of my life face-to-face; and first time seeing the musical love of my life with the love of my life.
Oh, and my initial watchings of Amadeus and Natural Born Killers.
Amadeus
I shall have vengeance!!
(and yes...I love his music and that film...it's beauty, ya bastard :P )
