"Being inactive increases the risk of developing depression or dementia, according to studies presented at a conference of the British Nutrition Foundation.

According to Nannette Mutrie of the University of Strathclyde, researchers are coming to understand how important physical activity is for psychological health. She said that recent research suggests that exercise can be successfully used to treat depression. Conversely, people who do live inactive lifestyles are twice as likely to become depressed."
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I think that's a study in the obvious!!!

I've been trying to get my mom to exercise more...severe dementia runs in our family and I've read a few things about the link between inactivity and dementia. I'm so glad I live in a time when girls play sports and working out is common for women.

but seriously, I've read that just walking (something about the swinging of the arm) prevents dementia

vitamin b12 helps too (elderly people don't have enough for some reason)

    I already knew this.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

Does that study say what being inactive and drinking massive quantities of light beer might cause?
