Yep, pretty sure I can recite the entire movie. Seen it at a million times and it's still great! :)
  • I think this movie plays every day on Comedy Central. Love it, and most of the time I feel like Ron Livingston in it.

  • I heard a lot of hype about this movie a few years back. So when I finally watched it, I was kind of disappointed. It has some funny parts, but I didn't think it was as funny as everyone had said. So after confronting a few of the people who suggested it to me, I've found that its apparently a funnier movie to those who work in a traditional corporate office setting like in the movie. (Same goes for the television series "the office"....I don't get the humor in that show either).

That movie is a classic. I remember I worked with this one girl who never watched it. I bought in the DVD to work and a bunch of us was watching it in the conference room. :D

  • The funniest thing to me is.. at my office.. every day, without fail.. one of my coworkers says to me "morning mike.. whats happening?".

He never saw the movie. I made him watch it and he didnt find it too funny. LOL

  • I have passed the dvd around our office

there WAS nothing wrong with my name until that no-talent ass-clown started winning grammy's

Peter: What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man.
Peter: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes with money.
    Peter: Well, not all chicks.
Lawrence: Well, the type of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do.

I just watched Idiocracy again the other day. While not as good as Office Space, it still has a couple of hilarious scenes in it:D

Yes that's true. To click with the tone of humor in that show, it would help to be exposed to the constricting, ultra-PC, paranoid, passive aggressive, and micro-political environment that pervades the typical corporate office.

In real life, sexual harassment lawyers would be coming out of the woodwork and dropping lawsuits in everyone's laps because of all the sexual innuendo and objectification of women that goes on within the show's dialogue.

There's just no way that managers or even the subordinate employees could get away with saying half the things that are said on the show. And, of course, in a more "casual" environment, there's nothing really all that shocking about what is being said.
