i was supposed to recieve a package today, and i did. however, when it was delvered i was sleeping. i went outside to get it, i couldnt find. so i called them up, and ups said they delivered it. they think someone must have stole it. i live in a neighborhood with a lot of houses. my front yard is very big with no trees. i just couldnt believe someone would go into a yard in clear daylight and go all the way up to my porch and steal it. it is so fucking annoying cuz i waited around 2 weeks for it and now i have to wait all over again. anyone else had this happento them?
they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go

Damn, Fleshlights are expensive too. Hope the next order doesn't get stolen.
It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win
  • That sucks. I always worry about that, because lately the UPS guy has not even been bothering to ring my doorbell. He just leaves it there...and then I get a call a few hours later from my in-laws (who live across the street) that I have a package outside waiting for me.
  • On two separate occasions I had my two recycle tubs stolen. So I took this to mean that it is a free-for-all and on recycle day I just bring home somebody else's recycle tubs. If any of my hippie neighbors tries to say anything to me about it, I'll explain that, "No, they aren't your recycle tubs... they're everybody's!"
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

Probably like 'Everybody Likes Raymond', but you know funny.

It's actually really good! It's like having a built-in babysitter, for one thing. Plus, they're very nice and so good to us.

Now...if you ask my husband, he'd tell you it drives him nuts. :D I feel for him, because it's gotta be hard living across the street from your folks. They don't pop in without calling first and are very respectful of our privacy.

So far, his mom and I don't hate each other. :D

She's really sweet and very supportive of me. I'm the daughter she never had. :D

WOW... that's fucking unbelieveable. If somebody's not at home here, they put a slip in the letterbox saying that it's available for collection. They won't just leave it there :o

It amazes me that no one has responded to this comment yet :D

Couldn't UPS leave it round the back or something instead of plain in view? It's amazing what people will do to one another!

We had wedding gifts stolen off our patio while away on our honeymoon. Our best man was on-task to check for any deliveries while we were away, but he didn't get there before the thieves.

Oddly, the gifts were unboxed and later returned to our patio in a plastic shopping bag. I never quite figured out if someone was being a good neighbor by saving them from the rain or being a bad neighbor because they saw TiVo and Crate & Barrel boxes for the taking (but realized they didn't want the contents). TiVo was a wireless adapter that would be useless without the recording unit and C&B was linens (not a sexy steal, if you ask me).
