just watched it for the first time
wierd fucking movie...
prolly nickolas cages best, even though it wasnt really hyped.
they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    I agree... although he tends to pick really good stories... I thought 8mm was brilliant, the rock, lord of war... and I know there are a few others.

    The film is great. I saw it when I was at the beginning of the relationship with my girlfriend. As you all know the first months are really great, that's the time you can't stop giving some love... I could use some other words but I'd like this to stay a familly pit,....fuck it. It's the time you screw all time, when you wake up in the middle of the night and it all start again.
    So we wanted to watch some tv and we stoped at 8mm. It was the first night in our relationship we didn't ****. The film ruined my sexual life!!! If I think about I Hate this movie ;)

    Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
    Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.

    kinda blows my mind that people can site Nicholas Cage's best work and NOT mention:

    Adaptation and Leaving Las Vegas......both movies are freaking incredible

    Scared me...
    I saw this movie twice - second time i just forget that i already saw 8 mm (i didn't remember the title).
    I felt depressed.
    I don't want to see it any more. But i think it's good movie...

    Lord of War is by far his best IMO. But I liked Weatherman too.

    great movie... very disturbing to watch... scary to think that some of the seedy places that were shown could and probably do exist in the underground sex trade.

    I haven't seen adaptation but it doesn't look like my kinda film. Leaving Las Vegas made me wanna shoot myself... and not in the good way :confused: . He was just creepy in that... no way she'd fall in love with him.
