Spent a week in your State, absolutely loved it, the weather was great, Santa Barbara was beautiful, San Diego seems like a great city, thr zoo is awesome, LA was decent, Universal Studios was better than expected, saw the Jay Leno show which was great, your beaches are beautiful, all in all it was a great time. Will be back next March, most likely in the San Diego area.

You missed the most beautiful part, northern California. I honestly don't think it gets much better than the Sierra Nevadas

Monterey Bay Aquarium is the jewel of nor cal, IMO. It was the world's largest aquarium until a few years ago when some new aquarium on the east coast took that honor. And if you haven't already done so, dine at a bubba gump restaurant next time you're in state.

Also, I visited Universal City for the first time a few months ago and I too was surprised. Come to think of it, you might've noticed the bubba gump restaurant in universal city while you were there.

Tijuana is another great reason to visit cali as it is just over the border. Catch the donkey show if you're into that sort of thing. J/K. I've been to TJ countless times and I've never seen the donkey show. 10 years ago, Peanuts & Beer was the bar to go to if you were seeking yayo. I'm not so sure about these days.

All in all, Cali rocks. But, that doesn't mean I personally don't want to someday take a road trip across the US. It would be nice to know exactly how much more Cali rocks than the rest of the country.
