  • Damn, it seems as though I missed out on tix.... I had class at 11.
I rushed through my quiz to get up here and score some tix, but alas..

Oh well, at least I'll see them at Bonnaroo.

    meeee too.

I've grown to loathe the tweeter center...

    oh well...

why does it seem like more drunken idiots go to Tweeter than the garden
is it the outside atmosphere and the tailgaing as opposed to the bars

now that i think of it. It is probably all the under age drinkers

i think you are right. it is the outside, tailgaiting atmosphere. That is why the neighbors hate it I think. not the "noise"

  • gonna be another nerve wracking day atwork, looking over my shoulderto see if anyone is watching whatI'mdoing ( or not doing)
After getting shut out of both MSG's I'm real nervous too.
I've been going to shows since the beginning and never missed a Boston show (except for that 3rd Orpheum show they added way back when - damn, but now I know better - I expect they'll add more, the way they love Boston and all).
I think you're all talking about Next Ticketing and I liked them just fine - don't know what heppened to them.
'96 was my favorite tour...driving to Augusta and SPAC and all these out of the way places, those were great shows...happier times I think than what followed for quite some time...
  • I agree with the underage drinking and too many drunks. But I must say, you don't get to see Pacific Blue on Bikes at the Garden, now do ya!

    Or Vedder

I was there one year and he was riding around the parking lot on his bike and rode right up to us

  • the 'neighbors' now have a cottage industry in their 'backyard' - literally and I for one don't mind paying $20.00 to get out in 20 minutes on a workday.

The Tweeter Center = Rookie Hour.

Tail gating in warm sunny weather doesn't help much either. Beer goes down like candy. You get dehydrated very easily.

  • I don't know why there's so much Tweeter hating on here. The TDBNG is too big and the acoustics are mediocre. At the Tweet, there's hardly a bad seat in the house.

Oh its quite true, and I was literally caught with my pants down, was in my car changing into shorts (had gone into work early in the AM then headed down to sit in the 10c line, and changed after getting my tix) and saw him ride by with his Vedder/Cubs shirt on, great timing for me.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Agreed, Bushy but there are a lot of 18 year olds who are cocked after a 6 pack and it's annoying. Plus the moshers, although its gotten better, but the moshers in lawn suck sometimes.

After you log in there is a link under your name on the Goods screen that will check it for you.
