I have no issues with trannies
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

I have a friend who's a tranny and I don't think she has a free ride, in fact I think she's had a really rough time of it. Plenty of people complain about trannies too.

Face it, you get into human interaction, particularly of the intimate kind, there's bound to be complaints and usually with very good reason.

People do shitty things to each other. Nothing new about that and it will continue because I cannot see human beings becoming that enlightened, so guess there's gonna be a whole lot more complaining about how people suck. ;):D

hate to say this but i dislike transgender people. I just don't understand the need to have a sex change. At first, my thoughts were "if you're gay then be gay don't have to change your genitalia" but I know it's more than just sexual orientation, a bit of identity crisis is involved as well.

I know a few gay and lesbian people and am comfortable around them but trannies would freak me out.

You are right about people doing shitty things. That will never change. I don't care what people do as long as they aren't hurting anyone. As long as you are honest then they should be or do what they want.

at the end of the day transsexuals are still either women or men, they can't be "it" i've got no problems with them, they are just human beings in my eyes, however i wouldn't date one, because there would be a lot of confusion on my part and too many surgeries to deal with. ;)

I like your honesty...but it isn't about "gay then be gay"

it helps if you look at the issues involved with this perspective:

there is GENDER, SEXUALITY, and SEXUAL IDENTITY.

with the majority of people the three "issues" basically butt up against each other forming the average heterosexual human...ie, Your GENDER is FEMALE, Your SEXUALITY indicates that you are HETEROSEXUAL (you desire and engage in sexual contact with the "opposite" sex) and your SEXUAL IDENTITY signifies that you are a WOMAN.

now, with Gay and Lesbians the ISSUE is strictly SEXUALITY. albeit many (but by no means ALL) have slight Sexual Identity issues - but that may be a result of society's strict views on what makes you a MAN and what makes you a WOMAN.

with Transvestites (NOT transgendered or transexuals) it is a matter of SEXUAL IDENTITY. They IDENTIFY with the outward appearance of the opposite gender...not to the point where they feel that their gender (based on sexual organs) is 'flawed" but to the point of being more comfortable dressing and "acting" in a manner that is sexually identified as FEMALE (if a male) or MALE ( if a female) they do not necessarily have a SEXUALITY difference from the average member of their gender.

with Transgendered it was an issue of GENDER. the feeling that they do not have the appropriate sexual organs for their sense of gender...Transexuals are generally considered to be in the process of becoming a TRANGENDERED Individual (have already completed the operations) Often they do not have a SEXUALITY difference, for example a Woman born FEMALE, but feeling GENDER connected to MALE, may still harbor SEXUALITY ties to MALES...but may exhibit instances of SEXUAL IDENTITY crisis - often because a Transexual will try to alleviate their issue by engaging in Transvestite behavior...this often does not "solve" the issue...as it is not one of IDENTITY so much as mistaken GENDER.

    I hope that clarifies. :)

    I completely agree. :)

My friend is a great person. I've known him as a man and I know her now as a woman. It's been a long journey and a difficult one but the intrinsic nature of the person I know has not changed. I don't profess to know or understand all of the thought processes and issues but I know that my friend is a good person and I support whatever choices she makes to be true to herself.

I'd rather spend time with someone who is attempting at least to be honest about who they are and striving to be the best person they can be than with someone who is self absorbed, judgemental and so unhappy in themselves they feel the need to do shitty things to others.

I used to have a neighbor who was a transvestite. It was almost cute to see this burly, plaid-shirt, wrangler jeans-wearing dude put on a skirt, high heels and hot pink lipstick and have a night out on the town. I'm guessing he didn't realize we could see his 5 o'clock shadow???
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.
