(BUM) Jon Bon Jovi has decided to run for governor of New Jersey.

The singer of the group Bon Jovi revealed that he would like to be governor, even though his family has moved to Soho, New York.

A source stated, "He is interested in running for governor. That is why he kept the house and performs at fundraisers for Democrats like Al Gore. He has also hired PR guru Ken Sunshine, who used to work for former mayor David Dinkins."

The rep for the 45-year-old musician admitted that Bon Jovi had discussed the possibility of becoming governor but for the time being Bon Jovi was too busy with his music.

It could be worse. The guy seems to have his head on his shoulders.

And there ARE some great unknown Bon Jovi songs out there. They were THE BAND for me when I was like 13 or 14, so I know most of their library. And yes, while most of the songs are guilty pleasures, there are a few amazing songs that I'm proud to like. If you haven't heard these songs yet, go stream them somehow (like Rhapsody or something) and you can't call him a hack.
