He may be half her size, but she’s half his age. So in theory, it kind of evens things out, doesn’t it?

Everyone’s favourite child star, Gary Coleman, is all grown up now. And his new bride is living proof of it. Well, technically the honeymoon phase should be over considering the Diff’rent Strokes star and his wife’s nuptials took place this past summer.

The 40-year-old actor married his bride, Shannon Price, on her 22nd birthday on Aug. 28. And that’s 2007, in case you were doing the math.

TV Guide U.S. is reporting the couple got married at a private mountaintop ceremony in Nevada after meeting on a movie set, in what Coleman calls his first romantic relationship.

Coleman insists he wasn’t saving himself, but his blushing bride just happened to be “the one”. Don’t worry, we believe you.

The 5-foot-7 Price is nearly a foot taller than her hubby, but she says size isn’t important.

“That doesn’t really matter to me,” says Price. “He was 10 feet tall to me because he was sweet and I really liked his personality.”

Apparently love can conquer all.
