Fun stuff in LA

So I know all the touristy things to do, but I am going to LA in November and want to know if there are any cool things to do whilst I am there other than the normal tourist stuff.

Also will be spending a couple of days in San Francisco & Vegas but I think I am pretty much sorted for those.

fun stuff like......catch some shows? theres a million things to do out here but it depends what you like. people that have come here talk mess about it but yet they have only seen 4 square miles of an area! What do you like to do? Surf? Destroy?

Would love to surf, never tried it before but would give it a go for sure, one of my fave past times is to destroy my liver so I guess you could say I like to destroy.
I like to do a whole range of differend stuff as long as it keeps me entertained.
