Probably as a warning for those who would think sweet, innocent, adorable Jim Halpert would never smoke.

you've never noticed smoking in films? long history. are they labeling it now? wouldn't be a surprize.

I'm a big fan of this. I think the amount of smoking that is depicted in movies/tv is too high proportionately to the general population

Getting out of bed in the morning is hazardous enough. "Warning: This film contains scenes of people getting out of bed after shagging."

If you watch old black and white movies from earlier times, they are filled with drinking and smoking!! :p

Where I live stores selling cigarettes aren't allowed to have them visible. So this ain't that suprising.

Everything we buy could kill us in some way. Buy lingerie for the girlfriend, fall asleep with hose between teeth, choke to death. Buy a bottle of fizzy pop, leave it too long in the freezer, twist the top, lean in, whack, ice right on the bridge of the nose. Buy National Enquirer: toxic toilet paper syndrome. Maybe they should build supermarkets underground.

oh for the love of pete....that's crack consumption right there

when i saw the trailer for this movie it reminded me of the old classics of the 30s/40s (screwball comedy sorta vibe), so the fact it would have smoking in it seems to fit.

Haha! We are born to die. What part of that don't people understand? Enjoy your life as much as you can. :)

You should come to the South then. Everybody seems to smoke down here. I would be willing to bet that 25% of the cars I see at stoplights each day have somebody smoking in them. I don't have a problem with people smoking, it's their business. I've never had an issue with smoking in bars/restaurants until I returned from Florida this past week. Smoking is banned in all establishments that serve food and it was actually quite nice. Restaurants are always smoky here so it was definitely different to come home not smelling like an ashtray. That being said, I don't think smoking should be banned in bars. Hell, I like to have a few smokes when I'm drinking and don't want to have to go outside to do so. At least that's one good thing about it not being banned here in North Carolina. I really think it should be up to the individual establishment to have their own policy about smoking...
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.
