My thoughts to,so long since I saw it.But all the David Lynch stuff is weird beyond belief.I can remember being quite disturbed by some of the scenes.

many years ago, i worked at blockbuster video.....those of us that worked out on the floor (helping customers find movies, give recommendations, etc) had a game where we tried to get people to rent Eraserhead...

When you did, the other people on the floor bought you drinks after work.
  • Eraserhead is what it is. I have no idea what the hell is going on. I own it and have only seen it once. Should I see it again?

Yea, it's not that difficult to interpret if you see it a few times. It's a lot easier than Twin Peaks or Inland Empire anyway..
  • that film is a migraine trigger for me...

Haven't seen this one in a few years. That dude has funky hair. Anyone seen inland empire? Is it any good? Wasn't a big fan of Mullholland drive but i love his other work.

I was hanging with a friend...not much of a movie buff so it was all his suggestions. This occurred after watching Naked Lunch too! Bizarre evening to say the least.

I'd been wanting to watch Eraserhead for years after reading it was Lynch's first film, it was groundbreaking, etc. etc. I'm a big Lynch fan but yeah, without a doubt it was the most bizarre, twisted movie I'd ever seen. I watched one day while I was home sick with the flu and I think the combination of my medication, sad physical state and fucked up movie I got very lightheaded and felt like I was going to pass out. This is definitely a movie for only the most diehard Lynch fans.

haha, if you haven't you should try reading Naked Lunch. I found it more difficult than the film :) Burroughs was a fucked up man.
