...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
Hahahahahaha
Where do you live?
I live in Jersey and there is a coast guard base in Cape May, 15 minutes from me. Its not like the other four armed forces.
Coast guard acts like its as big and tough but its not. LOL
No offence.
Its a career type job. I met one guy who worked for me who was in. He left though b/c he was so board.
I guess this was not a big help huh?
You should really talk to others who are in to get some some advice.
Sweep the Leg Johnny.
is that exactly what I thought I read?"
How I choose to feel,...Is how I am.
no offence taken. technically the coast guard is part of the armed forces but i'm sure it's the laughing stock of the armed forces. but that's ok because i don't want to, you know, die. i live in central missouri but i think Cape May is the only area where coast guard trains. oh, and yes i can swim.
I'm not in any way trying to be negative by my question, I'm just wondering.
MY niece joined right after high school in 2005 and went through the first six weeks of training, but had to get a medical discharge...she has severe asthma like I do and she couldn't make it any further! Poor kid, she was broken-hearted.....and she looked so cute in her uniform too....:( She's okay now, but she was really bummed.. Good luck to ya!!
"What a stupid lamb."
"What a sick, masochistic lion."
he absolutely loves it, but then again, he grew up on boats, and I wouldnt be suprised if he had grown gills at some point.
I think the experience is sooo different for everybody, but keep talking to people about it. It seems like a great job.
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

i don't know. just something in me that i can't explain. i'm 25 years old and have never really done anything exciting in my life. just seems like it would be an adventure. i could be terribly wrong though. i hope not.
Good luck, I did my six years in the Air Force. It was the best thing I could have done for myself at that age.
Well, if you do decide to do it I wish you luck!
